When to teach a child how to cook

I remember learning right around my son tween years, if not sooner. My son has been "helping" in the kitchen since toddlerhood. He began "stirring" eggs aka moving fork around.

But now it's time for him to step up and be in charge. He can plan, prep and start parts of dinner.

So far he's excited about cooking and doing great. Cause the way he eats, I aint gonna be in the kitchen ALL DAY. So he better learn. 😂
