My son learning how to code and animate in a Google #CSFirst at NYPL The New York Public Library class.

Gotta keep his little mind busy with good things.

Is school lock down a new normal?

When I picked my son up from school, I was told about the school lock down.

Someone called in a weapons threat in school.

My son has adjusted to dealing with scares like this. Like other kids in the USA. Like other kids in the world.

This is the new norm while getting a public education. I can't even wrap my head around this.
